Olympic Weightlifting isn’t just about how much you can lift — it’s about how well you can move. The snatch and clean & jerk demand explosive power, precision timing and exceptional technique. Once you get it, nothing else comes close.

Crazy Strength has deep roots in weightlifting. Our head coach Craig Spicer created Army Weightlifting from scratch and built it to full Army Sports status. That same culture — technical, serious, but welcoming — runs through everything we do here.

BWL qualified coaches
All our weightlifting coaches hold British Weightlifting qualifications. You’re learning from people who know the sport inside out.

Pathway from 6 to Masters
CUBS starts at age 6. Our youth squad competes nationally. We also have Masters athletes competing at the highest level. The full pathway is here.

Competition venue
We host BWL competitions including Age Group Tier 3 events. When you compete, you’ll know exactly what to expect.

Education on site
We run BWL Level 1 and Level 2 coaching courses here. The coaching culture goes all the way through the club.

6-Week Technique Course

A focused 6-week course to improve your clean technique, efficiency and confidence — whether you’re new to Olympic lifting or breaking through a plateau. Once a week, 1 hour, high-quality coaching in a small group.
