What Is Powerlifting?

Three Lifts. Real Strength.

Powerlifting is the sport of the squat, bench press and deadlift — each performed for a single maximal effort. But you don’t need to compete to train like a powerlifter. The programming, the coaching and the results are just as relevant whether your goal is a competition total or simply picking up the kids without your back giving out.

We host national competitions and coach athletes to British and World level. We also have members who have zero interest in competing — and that’s completely fine.

Every session is coached and structured. You won’t just be left to figure it out — you’ll have a programme that builds week on week.

All levels welcome
Absolute beginners train alongside national-level competitors. The environment is supportive, not intimidating — everyone started somewhere.

Crazy Strength is a recognised British Powerlifting competition venue. If competing is your goal, you’ll be training in the same space where it happens.

Everything in Club Membership plus a bespoke training programme written specifically for your goals, ability and competition calendar.

Head Coach Programme
£200 /mo

Coached directly by Craig Spicer. Bespoke programming, personal attention in sessions, and direct access to the South West’s most experienced powerlifting coach.
